Oh my goodness, I have sat down at least 10 times in the past 10 days to write a post about the New Year! I had it all lined up in my head, I would tell you about my goals for 2017 and post these really cool pictures I woke up at 5 a.m. to post! I was even going to give you a little tutorial on how we took the pictures and tell you how you could be “cool” with your teen-aged Instagrammer and take some with her! But that all failed when I went to login to the publishing side of my blog and couldn’t. I did what everyone would say you should do, I researched the error on Google, did what I could and then asked for help. I have literally been seeking help for 7 days! Who knew! It’s just a blog!
After much time spent and right when I was on the brink of throwing my computer into the street ,I found someone who knew what was wrong! I also, found someone to instruct me on what to do to fix! I was hacked! Someone hacked my little blog, why? I mean really?!
I’ve learned a really good lesson on blogging and it is to update your plugins! Plugins are like apps on your phone, but instead of being able to sit out there forever waiting to be updated, you have to update them for your blog on a regular schedule. No one tells you these things!
One thing on my 2017 goal list was to post onto the blog more often and try to make a schedule each month, so now that I’m up and running again I hope that this will be the case!
The Christmas lights are down but these pictures are pretty cool. My friend Amanda and I went to the park at 5 a.m., it was totally dark except for the Christmas lights, we put the camera on a tripod and held the lens open an obscene amount of time to take these pictures! The star I’m “holding” is actually just a flashlight and the light being captured on the lens! How cool, right?!
Happy New Year!
