I ventured down Central Avenue the other night and stumbled into Ashe Couture Boutique, I’m embarrassed to say that I hadn’t been in before because she was getting ready to celebrate her 3 year anniversary. But I made it in, the store is super cute and the owner couldn’t have been any nicer in helping me pick out items that were age appropriate for me and for my 13 year old daughter. I bought 3 dresses for $127 and was so happy with my purchases. This cotton “sucker punch” dress by RVCA is so cute and affordable. I’m 5’6″ so if you were a lot taller the dress may be a little short on you but the fabric has plenty of give for you to be comfortable in and at $44 it’s a steal!! Best of all, it has pockets and comes in a wide variety of colors! I’ve linked the large color palette of dresses here from Amazon, but go into Ashe for grey, green and blue! I paired it with an inexpensive jean jacket from Old Navy, $35 and my truly vintage sneakers! The sneakers are made by Simple and I’ve linked a similar pair here but my friend Amanda said “Vintage?, Where from?”, to which I replied, “my closet 1994”! I can’t believe I’ve kept them that long! My daughter laughs at me every time I wear them, but they are super comfortable!! Everything comes back around again right?
Well here you have it, my mom appropriate outfit of the week, even the Publix checkout girl complimented me! Happy Thanksgiving!
Soooo cute! I may drive more than 2 miles to scoop up one of those! And love those rockin’ shoes! Go Heels!
